Entangling Your Guest's Senses

Planning your wedding’s décor is a fun and creative aspect, it is also a canvas on which you can create and showcase your and your hubby’s soul and spirit.
One good idea is not enough – should you have a fantastic cake representing the both of you and stunning stationery with tables set just as you want it, you have not yet won on your mission to create a master arts piece for your eyes and those of your guests.
Small detail should be repeated throughout your decor and colours should be re-represented in places no one would think to look, but will inevitable see.
We do not want your guest to only speak about a certain part of your wedding when we can make them refer to your complete wedding in all its aspects.
This stays an art and if this “master art piece” is what you want for your wedding, you will have to make no compromise. You cannot afford to let someone with only a “good eye” do the work of a Master Artist…a “good eye” is just not good enough…art is what you will be looking for!
I had a chance to see many such wedding photos where you see stunning cakes, tables, etc., but it is just not connected to each other. Just because two types of items fit together for the bride and groom, because you know the meaning of it, do not mean that it will look logical or even stunning to your guests.
We need to consider some of the general mistakes brides and “good eye” people make;
    • Because you, as a couple, understand the meaning you assume the guests will get it.
You can explain the meaning of your choice or combination by decor, a professional will be able to help with this.
This ensures that everyone can partake and form a FANTASTIC atmosphere on your special day.

  • These are two items that go together for me so, it will logically, fit together for the other people attending. If we cannot get people/our guest to buy into the decor/feel/atmosphere, we have failed to create an enjoyable wedding for ourselves and the guests.
  • Photos can cut out mistakes. This is partially true, but not true enough to compromise the uniqueness of your wedding and the memories made on that day.
People see where the photographer might not take a photo.
  • It is my special day and no one else matters.
If this was so true to you, why did you invite guest and are paying for them to partake?
I would hope that their opinion is indeed important to you, if you are going to pay for them to take part in your wedding. You are the MOST IMPORTANT person on that day and you can choose, but at the end you want people to enjoy and appreciate the day with you.
This will allow your guests to make your special day even more special.
Weddings will always stay an art form and so will decor.
Though this might seem silly to you, consider your special day and all your dreams since childhood, before making your choice.
Specialists aren’t always so expensive, if you consider everything included in their fee.
Do yourself a favour and look into wedding planers’ prices before you decide to let a “good eye” person do the job for you – you might never regret using a planner for this, one in a lifetime, special day.
